Inner Confidence Training

Inner confidence training is the difference that makes the difference.  With this holistic training, we work on how to connect with the inner wisdom and confidence.  We help you with the techniques and inner strength that you need to tackle even the most hostile interviews.

Not only do we work to ensure you have the knowledge of how the media works, in this workshop we also help you to understand how your own stress-responses work.  This means you can hack into your own feelings to gain inner calm.

The difference between inner confidence training and outer arrogance

We’ve all seen people on the media who have blustered their way through an interview.  Ultimately they have come across as arrogant, puffed up and unpleasant.  But chances are, on the inside they were feeling less than confident, and ended up covering up for this with sheer bravado – being bombastic, bigger-than-life and inauthentic.

The cure?  We believe that connecting with your inner wisdom and authentic truth at times of stress, can ensure that your outer appearance is calm, connected and open.  By being grounded throughout your media interview,  you will be less likely to stray into unchartered territories.  You will be less likely to be caught off-guard, and you’ll be more able to give sound and well-reasoned responses.

People like confident, authentic people

It’s true – nobody likes someone who appears shifty and untrustworthy. We can see through lies, smell BS from several miles.  However if you are communicating with authenticity and from the heart, people can tell.  They will warm to you, which means you are more able to communicate difficult or complex messages, keeping more of the audience on-side

Inner Confidence Training has been  developed using the well-accepted techniques of Mindfulness, techniques that will work for life and not just for work.

When we are at the mercy of our adrenalin surge caused by stress, we are at our least creative.  But creativity is the very bedrock of an excellent media interview.  When we are feeling grounded and calm, we can access our innate wisdom and our creativity.  We can craft the response that answers the interviewer with honesty and integrity.  We can understand better the response that the interviewer is seeking, and we can deliver it calmly.
